We are Chris and Kath Bedford. We started CondiMental in 2015 when we had a glut of raspberries to use up. We made raspberry jam and gave it away to friends and family. We quickly realised that we had a hit on our hands and started making different varieties of jam and chutneys.
We are passionate about using locally sourced and homegrown ingredients. We believe that using local ingredients make our jams and chutneys taste better. We have around 30 different varieties of different flavours - some traditional and some weird and wonderful!
CondiMental are a husband and wife team based in Bradford, West Yorkshire. We pride ourselves on using locally sourced and homegrown ingredients wherever possible. We make our jams and chutneys in small batches in our home kitchen.
We are always looking to add new products to our repertoire and if there is something in particular you want that isn't listed - drop us a note and we'll see what we can do!
For example loads of people asked us if we did Greengage Jam. We didn't at the time but sourced some greengages and made the most delicious jam ever!
Someone asked if we did anything spicy and we created Don't Fear the Reaper Hot Sauce containing Carolina Reaper and Naga Ghost Chillies - it went down a storm!
The recipes we use are timeless classics but we are not afraid to push the boundaries with flavours. Our Strawberry and Black Pepper Jam shouldn't work - but it does!
